Western Isles Women's Aid is an organisation run by women for women and children suffering from domestic abuse.
We provide a confidential counselling service to any woman suffering from domestic abuse. It doesn't matter where you live, how much money you have, what nationality you are or how many children you have. Our service is open to all women.

As well as one-to-one counselling we offer telephone counselling and an on-call service 7 nights a week from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m.

Any woman can be abused, she might be any woman you come into contact with. She might be your daughter, your friend, your mother or grandmother, your neighbour or she might be you

We can offer safe accommodation and support for women and their children
who need to move from their own home due to domestic abuse.
Advice on Housing/legal rights, Benefits etc. If we do not have the information you need we can get it for you. Any woman can use our services even if you just need someone to talk to or advice on a particular matter.
